Special Needs Programs in Kansas City

About Friendship KC

Friendship KC is a special needs program in Kansas City.

Our organization was established in 2018 with the intention of creating a more inclusive community.

Our programs engage youth and adults with diverse abilities in a full range of social activities—creating lasting friendships that strengthen both the Jewish and greater communities.

Friendship KC enriches the lives of children, teens, and adults with special needs and their families through social, recreational experiences, while inspiring volunteers to participate in building a stronger, more inclusive community.

Friendship KC is founded upon the idea that within each person is a soul; and that each soul is equal and worthy of boundless love. With this inspiration, the lives of the families we serve are enhanced while the volunteers reap the rewards of selfless giving.

About the Torah Learning Center

Our mission is to strengthen the Greater Kansas City Jewish community by promoting Jewish pride, study and celebration. We provide for the spiritual and material needs of all Jewish people in the community, regardless of background or affiliation, by providing a warm community home – where everyone is made to feel welcome and comfortable – based on the teachings of the Torah and Chabad Chassidut.
