Volunteer with Friendship KC
Friendship KC offers volunteer programs in Kansas City to help our volunteers establish bonds of friendship with their peers who have special needs within the Jewish community.
They become advocates for their new friends, expand their social circles, and receive community service hours—all while having fun!
We are looking for volunteers who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to making a difference in the people they encounter.
How it Works
Each volunteer is matched with a child or young adult who has special needs. Together, they form a friendship by participating together in one or many of Friendship KC’s recreational programs.
Sign up using our volunteer questionnaire below.
Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator and be matched with a participant.
Meet up with your new buddy to get to know one another and form your new friendship.
Have endless hours of fun and entertainment both at the participant’s home and at our exciting programs and events.
The goal of Friendship KC is to provide every Jewish special needs individual with support, friendship, and inclusion into the Jewish community.
We are looking for high school and young adult volunteers who are looking for a fun and exciting way to make a difference and give back to the community.
